Returns and cancellation
Fourteen days from the day it reaches you to change your mind, for any reason at all.
The right to cancel
Buying from this website is a distance contract, and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you a right to cancel one without giving any reason. You do not have to have a complaint. You do not have to explain.
The period starts when the contract is made — when we accept your order — and it ends fourteen days after the day the garment comes into your hands, or into the hands of someone you asked to take it for you. Where a length has to be cut for you, the window is already open through the whole of that wait and still has its full fourteen days to run once the parcel arrives. Where the garment was on the shelf and goes straight out, the start and the end nearly meet. Either way you are counting from the day it reaches you.
This is a right to change your mind. It sits alongside, and does not replace, your rights when something is wrong with the garment — those are set out in the terms and cannot be reduced by anything written here.
Being cut for you does not remove the right
Some lengths are held finished and go out as they are. Others are cut once you have ordered them. The regulations do exempt goods made to a customer's own specifications or clearly personalised, and it would suit us to say the second kind falls inside that. It is very unlikely to, and we are not going to find out: Sagheerah does not claim that exemption on anything it sells.
For a garment that was already made, there is nothing to argue about: it existed before you did anything, so it cannot have been made to your specification.
For one cut after you order, choosing a cloth and a length from lists we already publish is still choosing from a range on offer. The Government's guidance on these regulations gives exactly this case: a sofa ordered in a fabric and colour picked from a range is not bespoke for the purposes of the regulations. A jilbab in one of eighteen cloths at one of sixteen lengths is the same shape of choice.
If we ever cut to your own measurements rather than to a published length, that is a different agreement, and we would tell you what it meant for this right before you were bound by it.
How to cancel
Tell us. An email to info@sagheerah.co.uk is enough; so is a letter to the registered address. The law asks two things of that message: that it says plainly you are cancelling, and that you send it before the fourteen days are up — it counts from when you send it, not from when we happen to read it.
You do not have to use a form. The regulations set out a model one, and it is below if you would rather have the words given to you.

Sending the garment back
Once you have told us you are cancelling, you have a further fourteen days to send the garment back. Send it inside that time; it does not have to have reached us by then.
Return postage is yours. Send it to SAGHEERAH LTD, 54 Lea Hall Green, Birmingham B20 2AW, by whatever service you like, but keep proof that you sent it — until the parcel reaches us it is still your risk, and a receipt is what settles that if it goes missing on the way.
That is for changing your mind. If the garment is faulty, is not as we described it, or is not fit to be worn as a jilbab, then getting it back to us is at our cost, not yours — write to us and we will arrange it.
Handle it as you would in a shop. Look at it, try it on, see how it is made — none of that costs you anything. If it comes back worth less than it was because it was handled beyond that, we may set that loss against your refund, up to the price you paid.
Your refund
We refund the price of the garment, and we refund what you paid to have it delivered to you. You are not offered a choice of delivery service, so there is no dearer one to have picked and the whole of that second part comes back. If we ever do offer a choice and you take a dearer one, we would refund up to the cost of the least expensive one we commonly offer.
It goes back within fourteen days of the garment reaching us, or of the day you show us you have sent it, whichever comes first. It goes back by the same means you paid, and there is no fee for making it.
Why this page is linked beside the price
A trader who does not tell a customer about the cancellation right before the customer is bound does not thereby escape it. The fourteen days become twelve months on top, and the right to deduct anything for handling goes with them.
So this page is linked beside the price and the buy control, not only from the footer, and that is deliberate. Reading it before you order is the point of it.
When something is wrong with the garment
Cancelling is not the same as complaining. If a piece arrives damaged, is not what was described, or does not do what a jilbab has to do, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you a separate set of rights with their own timescales. They are in the terms. Write to us and we will deal with it.
