Short, because most of what governs a sale like this is already settled by law and does not need restating in our words.

Prices

Prices are in pounds sterling.

SAGHEERAH LTD is not registered for VAT, so there is no VAT on anything sold here. None is added at the checkout and none is hidden inside the figure on the page: £75 is £75. It is said rather than left out because a customer comparing one price against another is entitled to know whether the number in front of her is the whole of it.

The price shown against a garment is the price of the garment, and delivery is charged on top of it by the weight of the parcel. You are not left to work that out: the total, with the garment and the delivery named separately, sits on the garment's own page above the button that places the order, and it moves as you change how many you are buying. The rates themselves are on the delivery page.

How a contract is made

Choosing a cloth and a length and paying is your offer to buy. The contract is made when we email you to accept the order and tell you when it is going out. Until that email, nothing is agreed, and an automatic receipt for your payment is not that email.

Check the cloth and the length before you pay: until you do, you can go back and change either of them. We do not keep a filed copy of the contract for you, so keep the acceptance email — that, and this page as it stood when you ordered, is what you agreed to. The contract is made in English.

We may decline an order — because the cloth has run out, because we cannot deliver where you are, or because the price shown was wrong. If we decline one you have already paid for, you get all of it back.

When a price is wrong

This is one person and a website, and a figure can be mistyped. If we find a mistake before we have accepted your order, we will tell you the right price and let you decide. If you would rather not go on, we will cancel and refund you in full. We will not quietly take the larger amount.

Your rights when something is wrong

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods have to be of satisfactory quality, fit for the purpose they are sold for, and as described. Those are yours by statute. Nothing on this page, on any other page, or in anything we write to you can cut them down, and any term that tried to would not bind you.

In practice: if a garment is faulty, tell us within thirty days of receiving it and you can reject it outright and have your money back. After thirty days you can ask for a repair or a replacement first, and then a reduction in price or a refund if that has not put it right.

This is a different right from the fourteen-day cancellation on the returns page, and a different clock. You may use either.

Complaints

Write to info@sagheerah.co.uk, or ring the number at the top of this page. Say what happened and what you would like done about it. You will get an acknowledgement, and then a plain answer from the person who made the garment.

You will have that answer within five working days. If getting to the bottom of it is going to take longer than that, you will still hear from us inside the five days — saying so, and saying when to expect the rest.

We do not belong to an alternative dispute resolution scheme, and nothing obliges us to, so there is no such body we can send you on to. If that ever changes, this page will say so, and we will tell you about it when we answer your complaint.

That is about dispute resolution schemes, and it is not the end of the road. For advice, or to have the matter referred on to Trading Standards, the Citizens Advice consumer service is at citizensadvice.org.uk. None of this touches your right to take it to court.

Law and courts

These terms, and any contract made under them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over them. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in the courts there instead.

Changes

These terms may change. The version that governs your order is the one that was on this page when you placed it, not whichever one is here later.
